Suggest Treatment For Long Periods With Thickened Endometrium

My last periods lasted for over month - little every day and last 4 or 5 days - heavy. n 2 occasions , passed clots as well. I was adviced blood test and US scan.Blood test results were for harmone check and came out normal. Scan revealed thickening of endometrium and some fluids in the POD - 17.7 mm deep. I am yet to go in for consultation - but could this mean ? I have not had kids yets and would like to have - will this be an issue. I am 31.
