hi

i am needing to get a second opinion. my father was getting evaluated for a liver transplant. the last test done was a cath. to look at his heart.come to find out he has severe blockage,CAD. and he was denied. now its like there is no hope but i feel there is something that can be done so he could get his liver. drs want me to make other arrangements for him. he is still fully alert. he also is in full kidney failure he is on dyalisis every other day. i would appreciate any input.

Liver transplantation is complex surgery and CAD and renal failure makes the surgery more risky. Correct his renal status and you can go for surgery at your own risk probably with a consent for on table complications.
