Suggest Treatment For Liver Cirrhosis, Splenomegaly, Gallstones And High SGOT And SGPT Levels
I have a relative diagnosed with early form of liver cirrhosis due to alcohol consumption. Also identified with splenomegaly (moderate) & ascitis (moderate), few tiny gallstones. Pancreas - normal. SGOT & SGPT levels are significantly high.Serial Bilirubin levels is found be in a decreasing pattern. under medication now. How to proceed further? Ramesh S

Total abstinence of alcohol and wait for the SGOT and SGPT levels to fall. Supportive treatment for all other symptoms is recommended.
