Suggest Treatment For Lewy Body Dementia In An Elderly Person
My 88 year old dad was recently diagnosed with lbd. Lewy body dementia. He has had increasing seizure like symptoms. He had 3 relatively severe episodes today. We have an appointment with a neuropsychologist but not till January. Are these seizure like episodes typical with lbd. Does increased frequency and severity indicate something we should look into sooner?

Hi , dementia not related to ibd.
Take vitamin tablets.esp.b12.
If seizure is there treat with dizepam like drug.
Depression is present then treat it with behaviour therapy and fluoxetin like drug.
Hypothyroid wosen condition so if present treat it.
