Suggest Treatment For Leg Pain And Soreness During Pregnancy

I broke my back in december unstable fracture L1 L2 and my left ankle I know have a pin in my ankle and fixtures in my back I m now 36weeks pregnant and my legs always cause me pain from under my bottom down to the calf past few days my left leg thigh muscles feel bruised and sore but there s no obvious bruising and I haven t done anything to have an explanation as to why it hurts what could this be ? Is muscle rub safe to use during pregnancy to stop this?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Your muscles are usually at strain during pregnancy because of the increasing body weight, stretching, etc. But before we assume this to be the cause you should always go about a physical evaluation by a doctor.

As for medications during pregnancy, I would recommend against the use of any/all kinds of pain management and anti-spasmodic medication except tylenol. Please consult your doctor regarding this as well.
