Suggest Treatment For Knee Pain

Mypartner has excruciating pain around his knee cap area that s making it difficult to walk and just constant pain for him. He has not fallen or knocked his knee, was getting better today but has woke up in agony tonight again. Any ideas what this could be? There is no swelling or any signs or anything wrong. Slight redness but that s it

Thanks for your query.

Pains that you have described are likely to be due to a muscular pain most likely caused by muscle spasm. Taking mild stretching exercise will be helpful. Pain killers and muscle relaxants will bring a short term relief.
He can do a hot fomentation and apply a local analgesic gel on the area to relieve the spasm.
