Suggest Treatment For Knee Bruising

Hi. I fell down on my knee and it starting bruising so I put a home made water and vinegar bag on the bare skin. After about 20-30 minutes I took it off and there was a layer of hard ice. I let it go away on it's own. Now it's very red but no blisters. What do I do?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. If you have just bruising outside then you can wash with warm saline and apply betadine ointment. But if it is infected more then antibiotics like ciprofloxacin will be needed. If you have any internal discomfort or redness from inside then you should have an orthopedic examination to rule out any injury and hemarthrosis.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
I find this answer helpful
