Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Looking for the best specialty to whom to make a referral. 2 separate joint injuries to both ankles. One 1/2 years ago the 2nd on the left 4 mo. ago. Orthopedically is apparently ok and been referred to PT. Extensive swelling continues to persist. Intermittent bruising appears on knees, legs, arms for no reason. Pain is a chronic issue even in unaffected joints.
Consult a neurologist for pain management. Apply quick relief for symptomatic relief. Do these blood tests for bruising, platelets, PT, INR, dengue MAC-ELISA. Consult an upper limb ortho super specialist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
