Suggest Treatment For Itchy Red Spot On The Skin

Hi, I have a round reddish spot that has the appearance of a small circle but is like flesh colored inside, and was itchy, but I have had it only a few days. I m not certain how to describe it. Does that help you in helping me to learn what it is? Thank you for your input and help.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchy red spot on the skin which seems to be due to eczema due to cosmetic products, pollen grains and could be seasonal allergy.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

- Donot itch area and maintain hygiene.
- Keep yourself away from open environment.
- Start taking anti histamine like benadryl.
- Apply cold compresses to affected area and apply moisturizer.

If condition doesn't get improve or get worse then consult allergy specialist for proper examination. Doctor will take history and try to find out the trigger factor. Doctor may order allergy test.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
