Suggest Treatment For Itchy Patches On Face

I have just moved in from the united kingdom where in the ambient temp is around 12 to 15 deg c to saudi arabia where in the temp is around 35 deg c at the moment. subsequently , i have an itichi face and i am constantly rubbing and due the fact the skin has now turned to be disorted and looks patchy as if a black mark has been running all over the face. i have also noticed that the face skin is ligher is some areas and has a different pacthy colour on other areas. I am washing the face with mild soap solution as well as mosituring the face , but nothing seems to sure this and cant seek any remedy. on the other hand I recently had my hair coloured , i am not sure whether the dye used has caused and alegric reaction - if you could help that would be great do i see a skin specilaist ?

Hi !! I have gone through your history and according to me there are 2 possibilities: one is allergic reaction to the hair dye you have used. The other is photosensitive rash due to higher temperature in saudi arabia. For both you should avoid going out in sun and make use of umbrella, sunglasses and hat whenever out in sun. You will have to use a high SPF sunscreen gel on your face at intervals of 3-4 hours during the day time and also use mild steroid like clobetasone cream on the itchy areas of the face twice daily. Also take tablet levocetrizine 5 mg twice daily to reduce itching. This treatment can be continued for 7 days and then you can revert back to me. Hope for your speedy recovery.
