Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bumps Under The Skin

I have had itchy bumps under my skin on my big toe. I thought it was athletes foot but clotimozole did not help. The bumps seem to move around after putting steroid cream on them. One big blister formed. I put acyclovir ointment on my toe with hydrocortisone and they have started to go away. Also I am taking Famciclovir by mouth for the past 24 hours. I do get herpes cold sores. Could this be herpes?

Hi,

Other bumps that are itchy or irritated may be treated with topical ointments and creams.

In cases where additional medical treatment is required, your doctor will prescribe medications that can help eliminate your skin bumps and the underlying cause.

For a bacterial infection, such as MRSA, you may need antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
