Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bumps On The Fingers

I have dozens of little bumps, under the skin on my fingers and all the way up my forearms. They itch horribly. Also have itching on my legs and feet. No new detergents or soaps. No bug bites. I have had these before but never as bad. Usually it goes away in a week or so. I ve tried Benadryl but it has had little effect.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* General body bumps with intense itching might be part of scabies, fungal or bacterial infection most likely.

* After thorough clinical examination with an expert dermatologist, you require to get prescription of steroids, anti-fungal, antibiotic, antiviral or other supportive care.

* Local application of Permathrin or else can be needed if it is scabies as well.

I do not recommend to wait for further home care and let the condition go beyond limits and disturb your health.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
