Suggest Treatment For Itching Sensation All Over The Body

I have a flea infestation and as a result have been bitten all over my legs and arms. My immune system is low do to cancer treatment, (Ibrance and Letrozole), so what can I do to stop the itching and heal the flea bites? I use anti-itch medicine and acqapore lotion on my arms. Please advise if there is anything else I can do to ease the itching so the bite wounds can heal? (Will be spraying and have washed my sheets.)

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history you are having papular urticaria. My treatment advice is -

1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral steroid, Hydroxyzine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
