I am a 21 year old male, 58 kg, 176cm height. I am having fungual infections in the groin atleast for 3 years, the symptoms are scaling of skin in the groin,scrotum,itching,odour and mirrored rashes in those areas including inner thighs over time. Initially used a lot of otc antifungals clotrimazole, micanozole.... Kinda of cured but came back as soon. Then prescribed mupirocin by a dermatologist which helped but reinfected again( maybe because of shaving that area). I am pretty much sure it is intertrigo(candidal). My question is,will it cure ever ,is it a chronic condition? My present condition is , the infection is in the initial state little inflammation and itching but no odour. I am not wearing any tight cloths ,no chafing ,thorough drying with medicated powders and stuff. What should i do, please help?
