Suggest Treatment For Itchiness Inside Of Uterus

Hi I have been recently feeling itchiness inside of uterus. I am currently sexually active and this has been going on for 2-3 weeks. It happens most when I urinate, it feels itchy yet it is arousing. Like its itchy but it s not at the same time. I have the same feeling when having intercourse, except when I have intercourse it feels like I am about to urinate or have an orgasm. It doesn t hurt. It is on front roof part of the vagina and when you push it, it intensifies. What could be the cause of this?

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. In the current scenario, I would like to offer you some possibilities for your symptoms. It can be a urinary tract infection, which when left untreated, can cause itching over the vulva. You can get a urinalysis and if needed a urine culture to deal with this. Vaginitis can be primary or secondary to a urinary infection. A vaginal swab done under a speculum exam is helpful to initiate the course of treatment. Avoid tampons and vaginal douches with strong soap solutions. Avoid intercourse until you are healed well. Your partner may also need to examined and treated. Hope this helps.
