Respected Sir/Madam,



Myself, Mrs. Debamita Raul (Gupta) & my husband Mr. Rajkumar Raul aged 32+ yrs. & 33+ yrs. respectively are working in respectable & responsible posts (both Engineers) in a quasi Govt. organization at West Bengal. We had been married from middle of year 2006 & yet without any issue. Our responsibilities in our factory are bound to increase day by day. Keeping the above point in mind & also my age I am very much eager to conceive a baby as early as possible. From the year of 2007 (just after 1 year of my marriage) till now, I have already consulted with two nos. reputed Gynaecologists in Kolkata but no issue yet rather I am suffering from irregular periods sometimes missing periods. Moreover , despite a long term medications & different investigations the root cause of my problem still unsolved.



     Followings are the precise medical history & medications we have undergone:-



1.     My Ultrasonography report reveals no irregularities in my ovaries. But certain times medications are required for my irregular periods (this problem continues from my pre marriage days ). At earlier stage of treatment my Prolactin level was high but after medication its level came within normal range.



2.      During initial phase i.e. for 1 year post marriage I took contraceptive pills for

family planning . I am presently consuming Glyciphage 500 mg. (twice daily) &

Eltroxin 50 mg. + Thyrox 25 mg(once daily) & Amlodac 2.5mg(once daily). The

later one was prescribed by my first doctor since April 2009 as my pressure

showed quite high.



3.      My husband’s semen analysis was done on March2008 & found healthy (high

motility & sperm quantity ) . However, he is under medication of Thyronorm

100 mg. + Eptoin 350 mg. + Udiliv 300 mg (once daily) due to his epileptic

problem & has been consulting a renowned Neurologist for last 8 years.



4.     From July 2008 onwards my first doctor suggested me inter vaginal

Foliculometry from 9th day onwards of my periodic cycle for testing the size of

eggs in left & right ovaries & endometrial wall thickness. During these

Foliculometry I was under medications of Letroz 2.5 mg & Eogentin/Fostin 7.5

mg hormonal injections etc. (3-4 ampules per cycle.).



5.     Amongst about 9 cycles of Foliculometry during two cycles my egg size

increased upto desired range, ruptured (through medication) but in vain towards

having baby . Other cycles were ineffective i.e. egg sizes never increased notably

even with hormonal injections.















6.      As my problem was not identified properly , we were consulting with another reputed Senior Gynaecologist of Kolkata since 22nd June,2009. The doctor after checking my previous reports suggested medicines like Letroz(2.5), Duphaston &Injection Humog(7.5IU) at different days of my period for 3 cycles. But after one cycle my period was missed & doctor suggested Proluton depot & Progynon depot which caused periods.



7.     Different Medical Investigations like FSH,LH, TSH, E2, Homocysteine, Sugar etc were done & every reports showed normal range except LH= 0.57 mIU/mL& Homocysteine = 12.53micro.mol/L which after proper medications came to normal range to 2.41 & 9.87 respectively on August 2010.



8.     Likewise different medicines like Premarine ,Maintane ,Clofert, IVF-M injection, Menopur Injection etc. were suggested at different cycles but these had no positive impacts on me towards having issue rather giving missing periods in several months which again needed Orgamed/Proluton Depot/Progynon Depot etc for making periods. It is to be noted here that , in each missing period months home pregnancy tests were carried by me & each reported NEGATIVE.



9.     Finally an operation named diagnostic HYSTOSCOPY was done on 15yh July 2010 & endometrium were sent for bactec,TB PCR & Hystology tests & all the reports resulted no growth & negative respectively. Also in the diagnosis, the cavity showed normal cavity with length 7cm.



10.     Presently for the last two months I am going through my normal medicines only(Glyciphage,Eltroxin,Thyrox &Amlodac)& no period in the last month & spotting on before the last month.



So, Sir/Madam,

     I hope by now , you have understood my complications & medications I am undergoing. I am totally confused with the way the medications are going leading me gradually into mental state of despair & distress for i)no issue & ii) irregular periods/sometimes no period.

     I shall be highly obliged if you kindly look into my matter with urgency & help me with your valuable suggestions & consultations towards next step & I am looking forward to your appointment date at Vellore for exactly knowing the root cause of my trouble.
