General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the irregular menses do have many reasons as:
- Uterine fibroids
- Adenomyosis
- Ovarian cyst
- Diabetes or insulin resistance
- Obesity or BMI over 28
- Pituitary or hypothalamus disorders
- Low hemoglobin
- Thyroid disorders
- Others

It is basic evaluation with clinical examination, ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis, lab data which will reveal possible causes and management guidelines accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
