General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If your girl can not tolerate the oral iron, generally iron pills and syrups do not taste well, then you may decide to give her iron intravenous. This is a little invasive but will give her a good dose of iron at a time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
