Suggest Treatment For Internal Hemorrhage Post Surgery

My sister had a bladder prolapse operation and they also did a complete hysterectomy. 4 days after surgery she got very sick, discovered she was losing blood internally hemoglobin down to 7. Discovered blood was pooling inside in two places in lower abdomen. Has no control for bowels and is wearing a diaper and cathedar. She is in hospital now what is your professional opinion and how do you treat this condition?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

she will have to be taken into surgery once again, the site of the bleed will have to be identified and coagulated. There is no other option at this point of time if the bleeding is active. Drop in hemoglobin is expected especially after such a major surgery. Speak to her surgeons about the same.

Best wishes
