Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Pain In The Chin Bone
For the past month I have been getting intermittent pains on my chin bone, they occur when walking, sitting, or lying down. I have had shin splints before and this is a much different kind of pain. Nothing in particular brings it on and it continues to occur in the same spot each time which does feel tender now if I touch that area at any time. There is no redness or swelling either. It is like Im being stabbed in an inch size area without warning for about 30 seconds then it stops and I ffel a sense of warmth or release when the pain stops. It happens about 20 to 30 times a day and keeping a straight face is hard to do and nothing I do stops it or relieves it. Thank god I have gotten used to it and stopped dropping to the floor and rolling around in pain holding my left chin until Iit stops.
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query. The kind of pain you are describing looks like a pulpitis pain (tooth infection) or neuralgia pain. So consult a good oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to get a radiograph like intra oral periapical radiographs to confirm the diagnosis. once the diagnosis is confirmed we can treat accordingly. I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
