Suggest Treatment For Injuries And Pain After A Fall

hi my mom fell on the road 7 days ago and landed on her left side that caused sever injuries on her eyebrow , left hand and leg ... she got first aid with ice pack and some pain killers and that helped and healed her other pains. Now she is complaining some pain underneath her left breast. There is no visual bruise, swelling or any hit mark. Do you think she has some serious internal issue or this might go with time

Hello and thanks for your question. It is possible that she bruised or even fractured a rib. There is not treatment for rib fractures and the pain can last for several weeks and can be quite severe. If she has any fever, vomiting or other symptoms she should see a doctor immediately. Otherwise have her use an ice pack on the sore area under her left breast and time should heal the ribs.
