Suggest Treatment For Injured Clitoris In Kids

Hi Doc. My 7 year old daughter came home from school and told me she accidentally hit her clitoris on the edge of her chair. I checked on it and it looks inflamed and it s hurting her each time she goes to the bathroom. Is neosporin safe to put or hydrogen peroxide?

Thanks for the query.
If there is significant vaginal bleeding in older adolescents, the vagina can be packed with a tampon or gauze.
Salt water baths for comfort, Topical anaesthetic cream to reduce local pain on micturation.

Reduction in strenuous activity for 24 hours to prevent re-injury.
Try applying fusudic acid cream or neosporin can also do the work.
If there is swelling give her paracetamol plus brufen combination.
If problem persists see a doctor.

Hope i helped you.
