Inflammation is most common complication of Chikungunlya associated with fever with or without rashes, body ache, swelling etc. Pus may be due to severe inflammation and infection at the ankle due to injury or infection of unknown varicose vein. There is no specific medicine or vaccine for Chikungunya fever or viral disease. Take plenty of fluids. Don t take aspirin. Take paracetamol for pain, headache, fever and joint pains.
