Suggest Treatment For Infected Wound On The Fingers

Hi I unfortunately was involved in a fight on Sunday and got a cut on my arm from a finger nail that was semi deep. Deeper than a scratch. I first washed it, then put peroxide on it and then neosporin with a bandaid. however there is some redness around the cut almost like a circle and the cut itself is closing but looks like the its a yellowish scab. it is infected?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having some bacterial infection following injury.
You might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days.
Continue applying Neosporin on the wound after proper cleaning.
Ok and take care.
