Suggest Treatment For Infected Bump On Tragus After Tragus Piercing

So I ve had my tragus pierced for 15 months now. I have the dreaded small tragus bump on the front of my piercing. I had in a 10k gold labret and changed it back to the surgical steel labret. When I took the ring out, (no pain whatsoever) the bump started to bleed/puss and looked slightly larger than before. What do I do? can I see my doctor? What would she do to it?

Hi,

It may be granuloma developed after hypersensitivity to the material used for piercing or gold. Kindly avoid the use of ear ring. Let the area become dry. Take antibiotics to clear secondary bacterial infection. Afterward, intralesional steroid injection might improve the granuloma. However, you consult the dermatologist for proper treatment.

Thanks.
