General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your diastolic blood pressure is so high. It is better to take ecg to rule out cardiac ischaemia and hypertrophy. ACE inhibitors or Angiotensin receptor blocker will be helpful as first line drug therapy for you. If it is not controlled by that alone then diuretic can be added to it. Life style modification also should be done. You should get proper exercise daily like jogging or brisk walking. Salt intake should be reduced. Serum cholesterol levels should be kept below by dieting or statin therapy.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
