Suggest Treatment For Hydrosalpinx In A Post Menopausal Woman
I am a 69 year-old who had a trans-vaginal ultrasound -- not because of any pain or symptoms - but because my mother died of Ovarian Cancer at age 94. (diagnosed at 93) This recent ultrasound was my second. I had a baseline 4 years ago. My doctor called to say I have fluid in one Uteran tube which I understand (after online research) to be Hydrosalpinx. Since I am postmenapausal, what should be done about this? What should be the next step? An MRI? Nothing? Antibiotics? Just watch it ? Can the fluid be drained without surgery? Will it fill again? How can I be sure it is not cancerous? Sorry so many questions.
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your diagnosed condition hydrosalpinx by your physician with a family history of ovarian cancer I am suggesting strongly that you will require a surgical interventional procedure called neosalpingostomy
In view of please see a gynecologist specialist for such operative procedure as there is little drugs intake can do to remove the fluid in your fallopian tube
In addition you will need to see a psychologist specialist for further Councelling and expert advice regarding your condition
I hope this helps Regards
