Suggest Treatment For Holes In The Ear Drum

hi. we visited a doctor for a check up for my ears. when i was 4 years old, i accidentally put a bracelet in my ear, and my grandfather tried to get it. but when i grew up i lost my hearing.. i can hear a little but i cant hear anything from my right ear. i am 21 when we went to a doctor and he said i have 2 holes both of my eardrums and need an operation. should i go an operation? will there be side effects after the operation? thanks

hello, as there is a perforation in your ear drums get your audiometry tests done to know the level of hearing loss. As there is pereforation you can go ahead with ear surgery once your audiometry tests are done. As every surgery has its own side effects, but not to worry because proper precautions taken during and after surgery these side affects can be avioded. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer.
Wish you good health.
