Suggest Treatment For High Level Of Cholesterol

thank you. I just learned that my total cholesterol is 252. The last time I had it checked it was 185 (total) Since my 185 reading, I have lost 60 pounds, eat a balanced diet, very low fat, lots of veggies and fruit, rarely eat any red meat and yet my total cholesterol is up. I am floored!
I do NOT have diabetes, or high blood pressure- all normal. I do have alpha thassemia (spelled incorrectly) and I do have asthma but it is very well managed.

Should I ask to have the cholesterol repeated. 58 yrs old, female, in generally good health.
Thanks for reading

Hai,

I have gone through your query.
As your cholestrol level looks low risk.
but can be managed with the diet and exercise. No need for any medication at present.
As your asthma and Thalassemia will not influence your cholesterol level.

Kindly add more fiber food, spinach and garlic, fenugeek in your daily food intake.
use corn oil, olive oil, sesame oil in your daily usage for food.

do walk for 20 to 30 minutes per day.

hope i answered your quey
thank you
