Suggest Treatment For High Heart Rate During An Argument
My boyfriend has A Fib. we have had a couple of arguments when he seems unreasonable and very agitated. They have both been when his heart rate was high. I dont know if the rate is high as a result of the argument or if the argument is a result of his fast heart rate, Both times he went in to have his heart shocked. The first argument was actually on our way to have the proceeder. The second he left and went in the next day.

During anger and excitement yes heart rate can be high as result of reflex sympathetic stimulation....
But he is having history of fibrillation..
So following work up needed. ..
-Blood pressure measurement
-Auscultation
-EKG
-Echo if needed
-Stress test
According to cause treatment given...
If fibrillation present than suitable drug like amiodarone or beta blocker might needed. ...
Take care....
Advise : Physician or cardiologist consultation for examination....
