Urologist 's  Response
Hi
The patient needs referral to an urologist. He will need to have an urine analysis, renal function test-creatinine, PSA blood test, ultrasound of urinary tract with measurement of post void residual urine, possibly uroflometry and cystoscopy. If he has symptoms from prostate enlargement then he is likely to require medications called alpha blockers first.
