Hi,

I understand your concern.

Your kid of 13 month old is having fever, doctor prescribed meftal 2 ml and p125 alternatively every four hours.

You gave 5 ml meftal at 11 am and 5 ml at 10 pm instead of 2 ml. Although the dosage was a bit higher from its age, you gave in a large interval, and won't be a problem to him.

He keeps crying because he is having fever. He might be having pain in his body. Not sleeping well is because he might feel pain and unwell during the sleep. He needs you to ease his illness.

If the fever will persist, should get back to his doctor to rule out any bacterial infection in order to start a more specific treatment (antibiotics).

Make sure he will be well hydrated with lots of fluids (water, juice, tea). Do not constrain him to eat as he might not have appetite.

Wish fast recovery!
