Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure

Hello....my mum is 85 with ongoing issues with her blood pressure being high...she has a monitor, she s not over weight, she eats well and all the right things, she s been told by people in the medical field that she is good for her age..mum is on a new medication but she doesn t feel well on and off....my question is what can she do to feel better on an off day? Is there anything she could take or eat?...thank you

Hello

Your mother may need proper anti-hypertensives after clinical evaluation.
She may need to switch to other anti-hypertensive medicines.
She may need routine hemogram,random blood sugar,liver and renal function test,urine RE/ME,ECG in all leads and chest X-ray (PA view).
She should avoid excess salt and avoid junk food.
I advise to take lot of fibers in diet.
She may need regular monitoring of blood pressure.
