Suggest Treatment For High BP , Anemia And Bipolar Disorder

I have a long list of medical problems including Type 1.5 Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Chronic Pain, Anemia, Bi-Polar, Sleep Apnea, COPD, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis. I see doctors for all of these problems as well as a great PCP and I can t seem to find the answer to my wrist & hand problem. They are very weak & my fingers twitch especially when I am on the computer. And when holding on to a book while trying to read or hold open pages, they keep sliding out of my hands! Is this because of the orteoarthritis? It is not painful. Thank you for your time. Mary Ellen

Dear patient,
Thanks for being so concerned about your health.
You should be. And welcome to Health Care Magic.

I will answer your question directly by saying that the most common medications that are prescribed for Bipolar Disorder, such a Lithium and mood stabilizers cause tremors to occur in your hands It all depends on the medication you are taking for your multiple illnesses.

I would like to inform you that the reason that your fingers twitch are the multiple medications that you are taking for different illnesses.

I would politely ask you to visit a doctor and inform him/her of all the medications that you are currently taking for your illnesses.

The errant medication that is causing these side effects can be stopped.

You are OK. Visit a local doctor and stop the drug that is causing the tremor. And replace it by another medication that does not cause unacceptable side effects.

I hope this helps. Take care.
