Interventional Radiologist 's  Response
prolapsed intervertebral disc causes severe back pain due to compression of nerve roots. treatment option are two- if severe pain and high grade compression over nerve roots then laminectomy followed by dissectomy. if mild compression then physiotherapy is best option along pain killers.
