General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The previous surgery might have weakened the abdominal wall and that may be the underlying cause for hernia.

Consult a paediatric surgeon and get evaluated. Surgical correction is required for the hernia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
