Suggest Treatment For Heartburn, Breathing Difficulty And Mitral Regurgitation

I awoke suddenly overnight unable to breathe as air seemed to bubble out of my stomach several times. I was able to stand up, but it seemed to take several minutes to recover as i gasped for air. It was similar to a heartburn regurgitation, but much more dramatic and serious. It did not have any taste nor burn.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello

Thanks for asking a question at HCM

It is pleasure to help you at this moment

This is typical of Gastritis/Heart burn/Indigestion. If you have gastritis, take pantoprazole tablet 40mg in the morning for 10 days and stop.

If the episode repeats, get an Upper GI Endoscopy, ECG, ECHO AND TREADMILL TEST done to rule out Gastric ulcer, and any heart problem.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards
Dr Chaithanya
