Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss

I have some hearing loss in both of my ears My right ear started to have a white noise or soft buzzing which continues off and on. I have been to an ear specialist and had an MRI which was ok. His only recommendation was hearing aids which I now have. But still have noise in my right ear regardless of the hearing aids. I find noise very wearing. Please advise.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
This is called Tinnitus and has many other reasons like hypertension, vascular loops around the nerved from the ear to the brain, acoustic trauma to the inner ear and so on.
MRI has only excluded a few causes.
Some hearing aids do help to mask the buzzing.
Occasionally a stress or anxiety can cause or increase the problem.
Get a second opinion of another ENT Surgeon or visit a Neuro-otology center to get a proper diagnosis and a proper treatment .
