Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ate food before having my father drive back home for 3 hours. I began developing a headache and felt really nauseous. I sipped some water and then I felt like vomiting. Right when I got home (3:00) I immediately vomited. I have been viciously vomitting for the past 2 and a half hours every 15 minutes. I've read a bunch of things that help reduce vomitting, but the pain is returning and I don't want to continue puking. I tried a Popsicle and I vomitted it back up. Now I'm trying ice cubes to stay hydrated. Please help.

hi you could be suffering from acute food poisoning or acute severe gastritis. in that case the sensation of vomiting continues, if more liquids are consumed. you may get dehydrated with such continuous vomiting leading to dehydrationketosis, increasing your symptoms.
please take an intravenous shot of anti-emetics like ondensetron added with pantoprazole (PROTON PUMP INHIBITORS), to reduce the acute symptoms. you can start taking orally after a duration of 30 mins after the shot. if you are more dehydrated please go for an iv infusion of fluids in the ER.
Avoid ice cubes the nauseating sensation increases with cold, due to vasoconstriction. all the best take care
