HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The pain that is occurring on coughing may be due to muscle strain that can occur in the chest muscles on coughing. In addition, the flu may also be associated with muscle and joint pain.

The use of pain medication such as paracetamol or ibuprofen may help with the pain.
If you are not having any relief with your over the counter medication then it may be best to see your doctor for additional treatment.

I hope this helps
