Suggest Treatment For Headache

Dr I have headache for past 1month I consult 3 to 4 doctors but no use pain stops only wen I take medicine after tat pain breaking my head. Dr suggested to take scan brain plain but report is normal no abnormalities. Now iam taking panris 40, naxdom 500,betacap.nw wat should I do to get rid from my headache.

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You are taking Panris 40, Nexdom 500 and Betacap (Propranolol) and still the headache is persisting. Scans came normal so there is no serious cause behind these symptoms. For persistent headache medicines like Amitriptyline or Nortriptyline can help. These medicines will help to treat severe headache if taken regularly. Other medicines like Sodium Valpraote also have efficacy in such type of headache. For relief of acute episodes medicines like Sumatriptan can help. Consult your psychiatrist for prescription of these medicines and for re-evaluation.

Apart from this try to avoid tea, coffee or any chocolates for some days. While moving out use sunglasses. Have good sleep for at least 7 hours a day and you will see drastic improvement.
