Suggest Treatment For Headache, Throat And Upper Back Pain

Last week I was told to get a thyroid lab test done since my thyroid looks enlarged. I did and am still waiting on results. However, for over a month I have been feeling exhausted even after a good night s sleep. A week ago, I started to have a lump in the throat feeling and pain in my upper back and headaches. This Monday I got some kind of flu...very achey, headaches, exhausted (came on very fast). Today, I feel somewhat better but nowhere near 100%. When I get the throat thing, my ears also hurt. What could be going on? Coughing also

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
The symptoms what you are describing appears that you are having bacterial infection of sinus and respiratory tract.
Kindly do the following to overcome them.
1. Salt water gargling with warm water thrice a day.
2. Use steam inhalation to liquefy the mucous for easy drainage.
3. Take mucolytic-decongestant medications in the form of syrup containing Ambroxol/Bromhexine, Guaifenesin and Chlorpheniramine maleate as ingredients.
4. Take a course of oral antibiotics Tablet.Azhithromycin.
5. For headache and body aches, take Tablet. Paracetamol with Ibuprofen combination after food.
6. Take medicated lozenges for throat soothening effect when necessary.
Strictly avoid consumption of cold items like cold drinks and ice cream.
Your symptoms should getter soon by adopting the above measures.
