General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Usually headaches in elderly age group may be due to Migraine, cluster headaches, Neuralgia or temporal arteritis.

I advice you to:
-To take Analgesics like Naproxen /paracetamol & Triptans
- Also steroids which should be tapered off over a period of 3-4 weeks
- YOGA
-Stretching exercises.
- Neck massage & local heat on painful area
- Periodic eye examination by an ophthalmologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
