Suggest Treatment For Headache, Abdominal Cramps And Nausea

I have had two irregular bleeds in the last month, one about three weeks ago (week after my last period) the other nearly two weeks ago. Both weren t normal periods, they lasted a day and the bleeding was far less than a usual period. My period was due on the 5th and still hasn t arrived. I am on the mini pill, could I be pregnant? I ve had raging headaches and cramps and a bit of nausea, all of which tipped me off with my other pregnancies. Meant to be going to the doctor next week anyway but wonder if I should test before then

Hello,

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
