Suggest Treatment For Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism

I recently had blood work done to monitor my thyroid levels (I have hashimotos hypothyroidism). I just got my blood work back and my TSH came back at 13, yet my T4 was within normal range. My doctor said to just stay on my current dose of Synthroid, and see what happens in another 6 weeks. What do you think should be done? I had a baby 6 months ago and every six weeks have been trying to get it regulated with no success. Thank you

HI
TREATMENT OF HYPOTHYROIDISM IS THYROXINE REPLACEMENT.I WILL LIKE TO KNOW FROM YOU WHETHER YOU ARE COMPLIANT WITH TREATMENT.ALSO I WILL STRESS UPON YOU THAT TAB THYROXINE IS TO BE TAKEN ON EMPTY STOMACH EARLY MORNING AND NOT TO EAT ANYTHING FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES AFTER THE TABLET.
I AGREE WITH YOUR DOCTOR AND WILL WAIT FOR 6 WEEKS BEFORE HILING YOUR THYROCINE DOSE.ALSO I ALWAYS ASSURE MY ALL HYPOTHYROID PATIENTS THAT IT IS A VERY SIMPLE DISEASE TO TREAT.YOU JUST NEED TO BE COMPLIANT WITH THE TREATMENT.WISH YOU GOOD HEALTH!!
THANKS
