Suggest Treatment For Hard White Knot On Knee Cap Post Injury

After my rugby game, I found a large tender red area on my knee. It also looked a little misshapen. I have dislocated my knee before so I was worried I had again but my knee cap was in place. Most probably it is pre patellar bursitis, which is collection of fluid in front of the patella and it will improve with needle aspiration of the blood and than it can be controlled with compression bandage. If there is recurrence than it needs to be treated with arthroscopy.
