General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Male pattern baldness, also called 'androgenetic alopecia', is the most common type of hair loss in men.
The medication what you want to use namely Morr F contains Minoxidil and Finasteride.
Finasteride works by reducing the level of DHT produced is the main causal factor responsible for androgenic alopecia in men.
Minoxidil is a vasodilator and a growth stimulant that stimulates already-damaged hair follicles to produce normal hair.
Hence, it is better you start using this medication.
It takes about 6 months to 1 year to see the desired results and you need to continue further for 3 to 5 years.
Hope the information provided is clear.
All the best.
