Suggest Treatment For Gonorrhea

So im 35 weeks pregnant and i was diagnosed with gonhorrea so them my obgyn prescribed azithromycin monohydrate i took the 4 tablets i was hoping for my discharge to go away but it hasnt its just lighter and not as heavy as before and she did another pep smear and it came out negative and its been a week since i took the antibiotics

Welcome to HCM
Sometimes the strains might be resistant to Azithromycin. In this case your physician would prescribe you with Tablet cefixime or Injection Ceftriaxone in a single statum dose. Then you would be alright.
Sometimes Gonorrhea might be associated with another STD cause for discharge like Trichomonas or yeast infection. So once again verify the exact cause for the persistence of the discharge genitals and get treated accordingly with appropriate anti-microbials.
