Suggest Treatment For Ganglion Cyst On Wrist

I have a ganglion cyst on my wrist, and it normally never gives me problems, unless I accidentally hit it on something, and then it is simply downright painful. But right now, it has started to burn and itch extremely..is this normal? If so, why is this happening?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, this ganglionic cyst usually painless may become painful when there is excess activity such as movement of wrist.
TREATMENT:
1) Conservative: a) wait and watch--If not painful.it may disappear by itself
B) aspiration-- not recommended..as it wil recur( capsule left
behind)
2) surgical: best treatment if there is associative pain.cosmetic reason etc.
