Suggest Treatment For Fullness In The Right Ear

I have fullness in my right ear. When I lie down it goes away within an hour. My ear doctor thinks its due to allergies and I was tested for allergies of which I have many. She recommends allergy shots after she determined it was not due to an ear infection and had me on nasal allergy medication for almost 3 months that did no good. What do you think? Being the nasal allergy medication did no good why would allergy shots work?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be suffering from right ear Infection or allergy which may lead to Eustachian tube blockade and pain.

Avoid cool drinks, freeze water, and allergen. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling. Also, use tablet Alday DC twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your ENT specialist, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
